BWS Cool Room

Capturing live performances in one of Australia's coolest music venues

In 2022, BWS transformed two of its cool rooms into intimate live music venues as part of The Cool Room, an experiential campaign featuring performances from Broods and Client Liaison.

Working with Jack Morton, Peter provided production services across both the Melbourne and Sydney events. The resulting content brought together music video-style performances, artist moments and the live audience experience, preserving the atmosphere of an event experienced by only a small number of competition winners.

Productions like these present unique creative challenges. Performances, interviews and audience moments all unfold within the same production window, leaving little opportunity to recreate moments once they're gone. Thoughtful planning and flexible production were essential to ensuring every part of the experience was captured as it happened.

The finished content extends the experience beyond the event itself, allowing audiences to share in a campaign that transformed one of Australia's most recognisable retail spaces into an intimate live music venue.
