Launch Housing

Creating virtual tours that make important places more accessible

Some communication challenges are difficult to experience without being there.

In early 2025, Peter produced two virtual tours for Launch Housing's Viv's Place and Bellfield housing developments. The videos were designed to reduce demand for physical site tours while creating useful resources for government stakeholders, sector partners, philanthropic funders and prospective partners.

Although both productions shared the same objective, they presented very different communication challenges. Viv's Place provides supportive housing for women and children who have experienced family violence and homelessness, requiring careful consideration of resident privacy and safety throughout production. Bellfield is a 58-home affordable housing development designed around community, sustainability and shared spaces. The finished videos needed to feel natural and conversational while helping audiences understand both the purpose of these places and the people they support.

The result was two virtual tours and accompanying social cutdowns that Launch Housing continues to use across multiple communication contexts, making it easier to introduce these important places to audiences who may never have the opportunity to experience them in person.
