ifm moneo Interactive Experience
Designing video around the questions viewers actually have
Traditional video asks every viewer to follow the same journey. This project asked something different: what if the content adapted to the person watching it?
Produced in collaboration with COG Advertising for ifm, the interactive experience responded to who viewers were, the challenges they were facing and what they wanted to learn more about.
Rather than presenting the same information to every viewer, users were invited to identify their role, explore relevant industry applications and choose which insights they wanted to see next. Each decision shaped where the experience went next.
Viewers were invited to identify who they were, the maintenance challenges they were facing and which real-world applications were most relevant to them. Each decision shaped where the experience went next.
Behind the scenes, that meant carefully mapping every possible pathway before production began. Scripts, filming and post-production all needed to align with the interactive logic that would ultimately determine how viewers moved through the experience.
Interactive projects introduce a different set of production considerations. Small editorial decisions can affect every pathway that follows. Timing becomes critical when buttons are designed to direct viewers to specific moments within the video, making picture lock an important milestone before the interactive build can begin.
The final interactive experience was developed in collaboration with Creativa and received such positive feedback that ifm's UK office reached out to learn more about how it had been produced.
The completed interactive video is available to ifm customers only.Project details
